That is new to me. In the purchase process one sees it nowhere that support is for only 3 months. You can go through the process and see for yourself - from joomla extensions directory to adding the product to the cart and paying. The only conditions one see is what is here http://www.youjoomla.com/shop/_cart. Maybe you need to adjust that in the future.
Anyway, I cant argue with you on that. I bought the component for a project that I was never able to realise to I didnt use it immediately. I am now trying to make use of it but when I install I see a blank screen, the videos dont show. What options do you suggest for me to get it working now since I dont have access to the forum?

site is not fully public so you always need to add index.php to the domain name to call it.

you can play , swf , mov MP4 files only not flv

that is mov but not playable , if you cant play file in browser that it will not wor , add this file
