Newsline II Demo Not Showing Up Correctly

I purchased and installed the Newsline II Package, and attempted to install the demo site, but had problems with the installation. Once I was able to get the demo site up, it shows up as shown at the following link:

<removed>.

I want to start out with it exactly as it appears in the demo site, and am fine with doing so, but Im running into two major issues so far.

1. I cant get the JW FLV player functioning properly. I tried to follow the directions found at http://joomla1.0.youjoomla.info/news...d=41&Itemid=55, but the directions dont seem to be quite correct. There is no Modules -> Site Modules. The closest thing to it is going to the Module Manager and creating a new HTML Module. This however did not work to get the player to display on the site.

2. I cant seem to get the breadcrumbs and time to display at the top of the screen as it does in the demo.

My transaction id is 6V933686828924431

Please help.

I placed the demo files on my server as instructed, then when I went to my url, I got the joomla install screens, but never made it past the database configuration screen. I entered the database information, and clicked next, but nothing happened. (No error or anything). I therefore installed joomla on top of the files using the regular joomla install, then I manually placed some of the files back.

Is there another solution?

you must configure db and install sample data , otherwise you will not be able to install demo unless you do manual db install. go to tutorials to see how to do manual install. look for Joomla 1.5 installation

Id actually already followed the tutorial, but I went and watched a different one and tried again. Still no luck. I manually create the database, and create the user using MySQL instead of MYPHPAdmin, and created a user. Then after putting the files on the server, I type the site URL, and get the Joomla Installation screens. I still cant get passed the Database Configuration screen, even after entering the database information. This is not a problem with a new Joomla install, but only with the demo site install. In IE, I do notice a warning message when I click the warning icon. It reads,

Line: 89
Char: 3
Error: document.formvalidator is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: <removed>

I also notice that the Joomla install page doesnt have a radio button for installing sample data as the tutorial had. Is there a way to do the install of the demo files without using the Joomla Install screens?

Actually, I just found the solution! The breadcrumbs still arent showing up, but that is a lower priority now. If anyone has this same problem, a solution may be found at:
