INSTOCK Template Help

Hey!

Please keep in mind I AM CLUELESS here, for this \Easy to use\ Joomla is anything BUT easy, in fact, it is downright hard, not intuitive and overdone. There should be beginner, intermediate and advanced editions but what do I know...Well, I know it is so freaking complicated I am VERY upset for I have speant hard earned money and I am holding my you know what in my hand and I have been looking at this for hours now and I am NOWHERE.
Alas now I have spent my money and now I must \Try\ to learn, I bought here for I saw support for members, I hope each question can be awnsered in a timely manner and not a 2 day wait. If so I will need out imediatly. If there is a way to send me an automatic email notification I would appreciate it if a Mod could set that please or tell me where to do it.

I will start at the TOP of the INSTOCK template. I want to edit the parameters of words across the top which starts with ADVERTISE, then CONTACT US horizontally across the top.

Please, how, who, what, where do I click to get to this area to manipulate it and please forgive me if I sound bitter but the main JOOMLA web site says this is SIMPLE and it is NOT Simple.

as you noticed Joomla is cms system that controls your frontent. Lets take it a part

modules = code blocks that can be positioned depending on where the template developer has placed them .

specifically for INSTOCK look here where the module positions are

we can style modules and give them different looks and for INSTOCK additional module styles look here

Now additional template settings and all extras for Youjoomla Templates are always on the top menu under \Extras\

components = more complex codes written for joomla combined with MySQL , PHP ,CSS ,Javascript and are ALWAYS in the middle of your template.

we will take for example Virtuemart since we used it in INSTOCK

Virtuemart is Joomla shoping cart component and all info about it can be fund here

They also have a huge community that can help you set up your shoping cart. Please not that we at Youjoomla are Template and extensions developers.

We make our own extensions and offer support for them. We do not offer support for third party extensions like Virtuemart.

For that you need to go to thir forums. All template or our extensions questions you can ask here.


As for the links on the top left. That is a Joomla menu . You can change its settings by going to

yoursitename.com/administrator

login

go to top 3rd link from left Menus .

In dropdown find cpanel


that is where the links are. The menu is a module that is placed in \cpanel\ module position and is called Cpanel Menu .. You can unpublish it by going to

modules> site mofules>

You seem to be have a good idea how to install instock template for 1.5. i have installed the template and the template is working until i actually go to the virtue cart page and then it looks nothing like how it is supposed to what must i do to make it look like the demo version.

I need some help with IN STOCK. When I add a new item to MyFront Page. mod, I dont get an Add to Cart button on the front page nor on the flypage. What am I missing.
