Im trying to figure out how to change the horizontal dimensions of the Poll and Login modules. Ive assigned a picture to the background of a table that is positioned in the middle screen. When the screen is re-sized to a lower resolution (1024 x 768), the poll module clips the right side of the table, obscuring the text.

You cannot change pool to be horizontal without extensive css change , but you can get our horizontal login module from free download section

Thank you for the feedback; however,, I think theres been a miscommunication. I stated that I was trying to figure out how to change the horizontal dimensions of the Poll and Login modules. The modules have a vertical and horizontal dimension--i.e., an x and y value. I was trying to say that the modules were too wide.

When I submitted this post, I assumed that it was the width of the modules that was causing the right-most portion of my text to be clipped. Upon further review, I see that it is actually the position of the right module that is the problem. If you view the site in 1024 x 768 resolution, youll see that the right module clips the center text area. If I could somehow move the right module further to the right, I think it would solve the problem. My site: clearedtalentnetwork.com

I dont see any \text cliping\ but th width can be fund in layout.css

starting with div #mainbody

ending with

#right_R

widths are defined in percentages

thanks for that information. if you visit the page clearedtalentnetwork.com, youll see that the right image slider module overlaps the main body text. i mistakenly thought that the module sizes were causing the problem. i need to move it further to the right.

the module in question,is the image slider, which appears to the right of the page (site = clearedtalentnetwork.com). as youll see, there is an extra inch of space to the right. the module clips the main body text to the left. i want to move the image slider module further to the right, not make it smaller. is there a way to do this?

module is not clipping anything , it is actually to small for that module position , what is clipping is the bg image of your content item , it is to big , you also edited the widths of the sides and that might also cause the issue, but mainly the content item bg image
