Template manager not displaying correctly

Could anyone tell me how the file "en-GB.tpl_yougrids" is linked in as my template manager is not displaying correctly. basically the template manager works but it the labels of each sections are incorrect. for example:

style settings appears as: STYLE_SETTINGS

I've found the file (en-GB.tpl_yougrids) which should be changing the name, but i don't know where it is linked into the coding.

Sorry for the late reply, but i have passed this question on. Please have a little bit more patience.

I believe the simple solution would be not to try to rename everything as you have mentioned in an earlier post.

Thanks for keeping me up to date. btw I have done a complete reinstall since my last problem, so i know I haven't changed any folder / file name if that helps.

It is linked in templatedetails.xml but this knowledge is of no use since that's a call to install the language files during install. Therefore the easiest solution is to don't uninstall anything but just grab the template from our download and install it again. No uninstall. If you keep running into problems it's either because of problems with the download (highly unlikely), problems on your server (permissions and stuff, try local for comparison) or the slightest modification of the original template.

The same problem like described here (joomla 1.6+YouGrids for 1.6)
I've attached the template settings view and a front view.

I've also tried with the YouGrids demo fresh install and then install the template, but the same problem.

1. check folder permissions ,
2. see if the file en-GB.tpl_yougrids.ini is in \language\en-GB folder
3. did you change template name ?

1.In joomla Directory Permissions all are writable. I even set all permissions to 777..same problem.
2 the file is there
3.no, I've installed everything as downloaded.

I've tried Installing Yougrids demo with and without ftp option..no modification. The only unusual message is that I have this message in Directory Permissions window:Undefined offset: 0 in /var/www/virtual/cristiangabi.dap.ro/htdocs/administrator/components/com_admin/models/sysinfo.php on line 139
The server uses a ispCP Omega control panel I've never used before maybe this have any influence

I'll try installing for test on another server with Cpanel

the error is not template but full installation related , try not to use ftp player when installing please. if you can test on Cpanel install that wold be fine

I've just installed the demo on a new server with cpanel. Everything is ok now. I think there is an incompatibility between joomla 1.6 and ispCP Omega or some settings made by admins. I've noticed that in installation process of joomla there was a difference: at Pre-installation check there was an option called Output Buffering that in ispCP Omega was ON and in Cpanel was OFF

I'll try to contact the administrators of ispCP Omega maybe they will detect the problem, and than I'll post here
