Pre-Sales [Inquiry: Joomla/WordPress]

Hello,

I'm considering of becoming a "Club Member" and was wondering if you have take in any consideration about converting any of your "Other Templates" to WordPress. I'm only asking this because you offer Premium WordPress Themes and they were all converted over from the Joomla Templates.

Mainly, I'm interested in;

You Shows - Joomla TV Shows Portal
YOUMANIA - JOOMLA WEB SHOP

I assume other may I want this as WordPress is very popular, just saying those are first 2 I'm looking for before I buy any club membership.

Now I'm not asking for "Custom Work", Simply asking if you considered converting other templates to WordPress, because WordPress is more widely used than Joomla, plus WordPress has bigger community and plugins than Joomla, not to mention WordPress is easier to setup than Joomla.

If not, I'll google to find a better "TV Theme" for WordPress -If any...

Sure, others will be converted to WP, but unfortunately i can not reveal which and when. I will bring your question to the attention of our developer however, and maybe he can give you a more detailed answer after the weekend.

As a mainly joomla person i can tell you that especially YouMania will be quite hard to port to WP since that template is build around Virtuemart and K2, two very specific joomla extensions.

In the meantime, why not take the plunge into joomla, download the free YouGrids package and have some fun with it in the weekend. There is plenty of information on this site to get you started and maybe it's a good idea to have different tools for different jobs.

Well for the YouMania template I already know what I'm going to do with it as soon as I work on a Plugin for WordPress using the "Amazon API" - I'll be using this WebShop for this reason, Basically for WordPress don't have to be built around something...just make the theme work with WordPress and any plugin installed will just work.

I've messed with Joomla, It's setup is a pain. (Not installation, The configuration)

A lot of people have also mentioned they would like a "Computer Repair Shop" template, I for one wouldn't mind this and again would also need to be ported for WordPress.

Once at least the "You Shows - Joomla TV Shows Portal" has been converted to use WordPress, I'll be more than likely to purchase the "Club Membership".
