The problem site is: www.ehermon.com

Code:

<?php

defined( _VALID_MOS ) or die( Restricted access );

// needed to seperate the ISO number from the language file constant _ISO

$iso = explode( =, _ISO );

// xml prolog

echo <?xml version=\1.0\ encoding=\. $iso[1] .\? .>;

?>

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN\ \http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd\>
As you can see the

Code:

// xml prolog

echo <?xml version=\1.0\ encoding=\. $iso[1] .\? .>;
That is the xml prolog right?

If I remove it as recommended by many people, my template will crash in IE6 (However, it is still good in Firefox), I really want to know what happened and how to fix it if possible.

Please help. Thanks in advance!

BTW, If You!Joomla can point out what are the problems with my current template and explain why You!Joomla is much better, I will be a You!Joomla 1 Year Member. My current template provider already let me down due to their problematic design and support.

that part is for content encoding and it should stay there do not remove it or your site might go in quirks mode . the reason your site is different in IE is this

templates/estore_plazza/css/ie6.css,

check the module widths and adjust it to fit the actual width or try removing it it might not be needed , I am not able to find rounded corners css for your mods but that is the actual coding issue you have.

why we are better? I would not go there but we just do what we can for our customers

hope this helps

Thanks for your kind reply. I can feel that You!Joomla really care about peoples Joomla! That deserves respect!

So if I wanna sign up with You!Joomla, which hosting is your recommendation in your promotion? I kind of prefer Lunarpages.

About my current template, it is like a hot pizza, I can not throw it right away. As a result, I have to solve some existing problems and then move on to new design.

Back to the problem, if I dont remove the xml prolog, the lightbox alikes will not work properly, the popup will always appear on the top of the page. So I am in the middle of the problem, I can not solve both of them together. Any suggestions?

Thanks again and I am looking forward to your reply.

I just contacted with Lunarpages. They said the promotion was expired! How come your promotion page and theirs is still published! It is quite dangerous and make people confused.

So what are the available promotion hosting services? Host Monster? Blue Host?
