Hello everyone. I cannot wait to share the good news with you. But like always first things first. Here with I would like to address all our customers and members

and advise that our July template release has been moved towards the end of month instead July 15th. This is only for Month of July. Last few weeks were very busy and demanding that we had to have all hands on deck.

With that said let me start by saying that this is one of the best moments where I am so proud to be in a presence of YouJoomla Team and can only wish everyone the same experience I have. Shortly I will start calling some names but I also want to say THANK you everyone that has took the time to contribute , test , troubleshoot and complete this project of ours.

So here we go , big big thanks to Mr. Constantin Boiangiu who has took extra time and effort to develop new scripts for our fans and bring in new ideas and functions that make YJSimpleGrid stand out from the crowd.
Beside Javascript , Costa is also very proficient in CSS , PHP MySQL and if you are interested in knowing more about him please visit his website http://www.constantinb.com or his blog http://www.php-help.ro where you can find many useful tutorials and code snippets.

Mr.Silviu Bobicescu who discovered very useful functions that we have used in our cross script development. Silviu is also the man behind YJ Contact us and many of our plugins and modules.

Next on the list is fierce Mr.Andres888 who spent many hours trying to penetrate thick YJSimpleGrid armor and came back with simple words
"It's a really good job from your side. I haven't found any bugs in your framework but I must say that is very user friendly!".

Yes this is the same Mr.Andres that helped us before to secure our code and he has served Joomla! community with discovering security holes in Joomla extensions.

Huge help also came from Mrs. Bertha Kvaran and Mr.Jay Burton who spent countless hours testing the framework and reporting back with detail information on GUI experience and bug reports.

Last but not least , Mrs. Sonja Todorovic and Mr.Dan Casky who gave us an insight on their experience with GUI and suggested the current design and information details.

Fouuuu! Now that is a list and I am glad I am the one who is writing it.

Now to YJSimpleGrid. We have collected the most used features, and of course most needed ones and put them in a array of options for you so you can show us the real power of YJSimpleGrid. If you did not
see the introduction news and video please check out the play button below.

Instead of complicating the development with multiple "unsure" options , YJSG gives you a very simple word by word explanation and a preview of what you are about to do.

Example , our grids as you see them on your Joomla! frontpage are minified and ported in to Grid modules template settings so this way you don't have to switch back and forth between admin and frontpage.
You actually see your grid in front of you and can reference it to your future joomla template layout .

Each of the grid modules has original module position name above and the default set width that you can adjust how you like. This means freedom for you and us . No more file editing , moving divs , braking
layout so you could just change your logo width. You set your size hit apply and done. Lay back and get a tee :).YJSG is here!

We are aware that certain software have limits ,but we still pushed the bar and expanded the default joomla options like FPNI setting (front page news items number of characters) . When we develop and give
you our joomla template demo everything looks neat and pretty but we know that the end user must learn new way of editing and using our software, and this is where the beginners might have trouble.
Was it 2 lines or one to have all news items look alike?

Well that is over now , you set the number of character that each front page news item should have and everything is lined up and clean. Furthermore we all know that there are many Javascript libraries but we
are limited to Mootols . It is most advanced one but only in the eye of beholder. How many times have you fund a script that works only with Jquery ?

Yes all those nice little animations that you would love to have but you are not sure if your template will play nice. Or if you are developer you know how it is when your customer says " I want this"
but you also know that there is no way you could explain why " this" will not work with " that" well now with YJSG you can have your Jquery running natively with Mootools 1.12 or
Mootools 1.2.4 ( Joomla 1.5.19 comes with Moootls upgrade plugin ) with no conflicts. We hope that this option will bring new users to Joomla community and if you are developer new customers.

The last 4 years we had countless debates what font to use and will it play nice in all browsers . Well , now we have collected 35 font styles that fit perfectly with YJSG. You can use Cufon , Google Fonts API or
15 beautiful CSS font styles that will let you expand your development and bring new ideas. You can also select only specific elements tag override and this way tell them all to use your new and shiny font style.

And now let me brag a little :). The admin interface O BOY! The hierarchy of Web 2.0, Joomla , PHP, XML, CSS , JS and options ( Costa, you can rest now ) . Very simple to navigate, loaded with useful instructions ,
separated in settings groups for easy editing. We did our best to make it very simple but at the same time very powerful and detailed.

So , all that is left to say for now is , YJSimpleGrid will be out in few days with YouGrids free Joomla Template powered by YJSG. I hope you took few minutes out of you day to read this article and you like
what you see. In few weeks YjSimpleGrid website will be ready and you will be able to find detailed documentation and video tutorials.
<br /

Last few days , Youjoomla Team was testing security or better said, testing the best protection you can use in your Joomla! website. We have focused mainly on XSS ( cross site scripting )

since it is one of the most common ways for intruder to get in or abuse your website. If you did not know, one of the best ways to protect yourself from XSS is to turn your Joomla! SEF on.

But the problem is that not everyone is using it like they should. So it is up to us developers, to try to protect you before you even think about downloading our products. Bumping heads together has helped and we also joined forces with brilliant Mr. andresg888 who was to our surprise, very polite and helped us test some common exploits.

Most of them use your in code $_POST and $_GET that are not sanitized to attack you. We have brushed up on our strip_tags() , htmlentities() , htmlspecialchars() and so on , but most of them either strip everything or are not 100% reliable for protection. So we came up with few lines of code that would strip everything from $_POST or $_GET and just return letters, numbers , spaces and ' . Mr. andress888 was kind enough to test it for us and confirmed protection.

So here it is , 2 lines that can save you from trouble

$_GET = preg_replace("|([^\w\s\'])|i",'',$_GET);
$_POST = preg_replace("|([^\w\s\'])|i",'',$_POST);

Simply add them to your template index.php after the first <?php deceleration and you should be safe. Please remember that every code has weakness and if you find one in this code snippet, we would like to hear your thoughts or advices.

Best regards
