I love the You York template for my website, but the way the homepage actually works doesn't suit me.
I want it to LOOK exactly as it does in terms of layout but I want the following instead, and I don't know how to do this! Maybe it is not possible?
1. I want only one image to be in the grey slider at the top and for this image to be static at all times throughout the site, a fixed Home page. this is the same for the copy that accompanies it.
2. I want the thumbnails underneath to still be there but to click through to individual pages throughout the site, but NOT display anything different on the main slider on the home page. (as per point 1)
3. The click to see more link, I would like to be a button to direct to the shop, so that it links to the same page every time, rather than being a read more link
4. the text underneath the thumbnails, ie the main homepage text, I would like to just be introductory text that remains static as per a normal homepage
5. And the tiny thumbnails on the right hand side, Im not sure why I am getting an error message, but thats probably a problem on my behlaf reather than anything you can help with?
